At Guys Cajun Paws, we offer a straightforward and transparent deposit process designed to ensure fairness and clarity for all prospective puppy families.

📸 How Puppies Are Listed

Once a litter is born, each puppy is photographed and given a temporary name for identification purposes. If you’ve already chosen a name, we’re happy to use it once your deposit is placed. After any prior commitments—such as “owner’s choice” picks or reserved placements—have been fulfilled, available puppies will be listed.

💵 How to Reserve Your Puppy

To reserve a puppy, your deposit must be submitted immediately upon confirmation of availability. Delays in payment may result in forfeiture of your selection. To reserve a puppy, we require a non-refundable deposit of $500, which is applied toward the final purchase price.

Reserving a puppy is a serious commitment. Once a deposit is placed, we begin preparing that puppy for your home—this includes socializing the pup, providing care, and turning away other qualified buyers. If a buyer backs out due to personal reasons (e.g., change of mind, financial strain), the deposit will not be refunded. These situations, result in lost time, resources, and missed opportunities for the puppy to find a family.

Our puppy prices start at $3,500, with adjustments based on:

• Projected size and weight

• Rare or distinctive colors

• Show potential or champion bloodlines

• Veterinary care or special medical needs

• Extra attention required for smaller or delicate pups

Smaller puppies often require more intensive care, monitoring, and veterinary support, which is reflected in their pricing.
